Ask your administrator choose your account, select the Notify tab, check the "Notify client when new mail arrives" and the "Allow notification to external IP addresses" checkboxes. Enter your IP address in the space provided or check the "Update IP address when user checks for mail" option. The latter method is preferred as you can change machines without your administrator having to make a modification to the server. In order for QuickMail Pro Server to notify you using the latter method, you must check your mail (using your email client) at least once.
